Im doing a pageant for my school, and I need a talent. Help?
Okay well there is the Junior class Ms. and Mr. A. Philip Randolph… and I am competing for Mr. APR this year. But I don’t have a normal talent such as guitar playing, or singing… or things like that. I can write some poetry… and im pretty good at constructing essays, speeches, and stories. Any ideas… i mean anything. Like I said… i dont play an instrument… nor do i sing, or dance. Help me out a little… or alot!

Our school has an annual pageant as well, and I’ve seen some pretty interesting ‘talents’ over the years.
One of my best friends works at a restaurant, and her talent was making a pizza; it’s even better if you have a finished product to offer the judges. 
Another girl turned her talent into a history/fashion show, by having her friends strut their stuff in outfits she designed, each representing a different era.
Some guys have made videos for their projects, to show off how tech-savvy they are. This is a good idea if your school has the technology to accommodate it.
Dramatic monologues are also popular; funny ones seem to work best in places such as this. Don’t be scared to incorporate props!
If you pride yourself in your memorization skills a song like ‘Yakko’s World’ or the Pokérap, (neither really require any vocal ability) can be fun, and sound really awesome if executed correctly.
Our queen last year showed us how to prepare for a camping trip… In full camping gear.
There’s really no limit to the things you can pass off as talents at these events. Since you’re interested in writing why not present a short story or poem of yours? It’s a sure fire way to make sure no one else is doing the same thing!
